DESCRIPTION

Ideal for lightsaber combat!

Lightweight and sturdy aluminum hilt

The Andromeda lightsaber handle is made of aluminum, a very light silver-colored metal but at the same time distinctive for its strength and sturdiness. The very simple design of Andromeda is specially designed to allow the user an optimal and easy grip without excessive annoying elements or affecting the line of the hilt.

Andromeda features very fine grooves that run all the way around the perimeter of the tube at both the top and bottom ensuring an optimal and firm grip. Andromeda is perfect for lightsaders combat practice or lightsaber choreography!

The emitter is designed with an oblique cut.

Interchangeable polycarbonate blade

Inside the handle attaches the durable polycarbonate combat blade, the plastic tube locks into the hilt thanks to three small hexagonal screws that will be tightened directly onto the plastic.

Polycarbonate is a plastic polymer with perfect physical characteristics for making a lightsaber blade, this particular material absorbs shocks and large stresses very well by pleating or absorbing the force impressed. It has a very high breaking point and very good elasticity thus ensuring more than excellent strength.

Polycarbonate is normally used to make bulletproof glass, helmet visors and fighter aircraft canopies.

GUIDE TO CUSTOMIZING YOUR LIGHTSABER

Scratch-resistant paint job.

Painting customization for your Andromeda lightsaber consists of a very thin layer of professional scratch-resistant paint. Unpainted, untreated aluminum is included in the basic customization. Powder coating can be done in different colors is a professional procedure used to protect metal artifacts from dirt, weathering, aging, scratches, and minor dents.

Safety Screw

The safety screw is placed above the power button, it has a mostly aesthetic functionality can become more useful in case the customization contemplates protruding buttons (plastic base) as the cylindrical screws come out of the profile of the sword and thus help to avoid accidental shutdowns.
You can choose different colors of screws and the cylindrical or round shape, the latter is not protruding but flatter.

Power Button

The Power Button has many variants of customization the most basic buttons are made of plastic and protrude from the hilt this feature of theirs allows easier use in case gloves are worn but are not recommended for choreography and fighting as they do not prevent accidental shutdown.

Metalized buttons without led indicator are of available in different colors, buttons with led indicator have the option of having two variations of metal coloring and three colors of led indicator.

All metallic buttons lock very much under the lightsaber profile thus preventing accidental shutdowns during choreography or fighting.

Blade Type

All blade variants are combat grade and made of super-strong polycarbonate, among the choices we have the tip type and color of polycarbonate.

The tip type varies between round cap or pointed cap, in the former case the blade will end with a half sphere in the latter with a rounded tip. The pointed cap is not recommended for combat.

The coloring of the polycarbonate affects the final effect of the blade; the standard blade is made from transparent polycarbonate and has shades of color along its length and a transparent edge. White polycarbonate, on the other hand, is evenly colored showing no edges or shades. Colored polycarbonate, on the other hand, has the same characteristics as transparent with the difference that a colored daytime blade will be able to be used safely even in very bright environmentswith a spent sword and equally maintaining a "lightsaber" effect instead of a gray or white plastic tube.

N.B. daylight blades should be paired with the same color led (red daylight blade with red led) do not mix blades of one color with led of another color. It doesn't work, we have already tried it ;)

Led Color

The lightsaber led is the one who illuminates the blade, there is a choice of various colors from the most classic ones such as green, blue and red or even some more special colors such as cyan or amber.

DOUBLE-BLADED ANDROMEDA

double-bladed lightsabers? just buy the fitting!

Do you desire a double-bladed lightsaber? Would you like to have a SaberStaff like that of the iconic Darth Maul? At Swords Of The Force Simply purchase two single lightsabers and pair them together with the Fitting to join them! all of our lightsaber models can be combined to form a double-bladed lightsaber. You will be able to use the two lightsabers as single lightsabers or as a single double-bladed lightsaber for combat!

PLEASE NOTE: For double-bladed lightsabers we always recommend that you also order the custom blade cut to be able to shorten both tubes as a double lightsaber with standard blades reaches a total length of almost 2.20 meters.

La spada è arrivata nei tempi previsti, come da me personalizzata, inoltre nello scatolo c'era anche un portachiavi bellissimo a forma di spada laser che si accende (e che sto usando!) e 4 pacchettini di caramelle gommose. Cioè, cosa volere di più?

Ho acquistato una spada laser Andromeda personalizzata. La spada è di ottima fattura con componenti semplici ma funzionali e, dopo averla utilizzata un paio di volte, mi ritengo già soddisfatto dell'acquisto. Nonostante qualche graffio presente sull'elsa, il prodotto risulta essere degno di tale punteggio.
