Customizable lightsaber*
IDRA is the new lightsaber with crossguard designed and manufactured by Swords of the Force, it is the first designed with this type of construction inspired by Kylo Ren's lightsaber it features two small side blades called Lightsabers, the hilt is made of aluminum that with all the combat blades made of polycarbonate that allow even intensive use in fencing or choreographed lightsaber fights.
The main aesthetic feature that immediately jumps out at you is the upper area of the handle where the 3 emitters are positioned, all three have a squared U-cut with the blade insertion hole in the center.The dowels for securing the blade are all positioned on one side of the lightsaber, 2 for the main blade and one for each guard.
The dominant hand is placed just below the junction of the side lightsaber guards, where there is a recess specially designed to facilitate a comfortable grip, the small diameter of this part allows a firm and secure grip of the sword.
Below the indentation we find our characteristic grooves found in almost all of our lightsabers, which help you feel the hilt better and hold it firmly longer and more easily.
Like all of our lightsabers, the combat blade is selectable from the many variations available in our catalog, and the Hydra lightsaber can be configured with daylight blades or standard polycarbonate combat blades.
These features ensure a firm and comfortable grip.
Moving down below we encounter the button area, which replicates the line of that of the Crono model, the safety screw positioned at the top and the power button positioned at the bottom within an indentation that decreases the chances of disarming the lightsaber by mistake during a fight or choreography.
This lightsaber model is only available in three crystal colors, red, green, or blue. no composite or special colors such as Purple or Yellow are available.
The lower part of the hilt has a diameter enlargement to increase the weight at the bottom of the handle improving balance and bringing the center of gravity to a better position. The handle has no excessive machining or protrusions that could lead to discomfort during use.
This hilt model does not have a grip and is not available in multi-color, multi-button variants.

This sports equipment for lightsaber combat has a very simple operation, with the pressure of the only switch on the hilt will turn on the three blades at the same time (now the sword is called "cocked"), above the button we will find the customizable safety screw that helps to avoid accidental shutdowns.
All the blades of this lightsaber are specially made for sporting, choreographic or acrobatic combat, it is made of polycarbonate a very elastic but at the same time very durable material.The blades culminate with the hard plastic cap that due to its features ensures even illumination of the tube. The blades can be easily replaced or locked by means of small dowels placed around the circumference of the emitter.
The battery housing is located at the bottom of the saber; to remove it, simply unscrew the knob while holding the hilt horizontally, then tilt it until the battery pack comes out of the hilt. CAUTION never pull on the battery pack cables could damage the connections.
Proper handling of this particular lightsaber model takes training and dedication; using a crossguard is much more complex than a classic single-bladed light saber.

SWITCH: To avoid accidental shutdowns during combat we recommend the choice of the basic metallic switch or the metallic switches with LED indicator light, this type of switch once pressed remains under the profile of the ferrule avoiding random presses.
