IDRA is the new lightsaber with crossguard designed and manufactured by Spade della Forza. It is the first to be designed with this type of construction inspired by Kylo Ren's lightsaber. It has two small side blades called laser guards, and the hilt is made of aluminum with all the combat blades in polycarbonate, allowing for intensive use in fencing or choreographed lightsaber combat.
The main aesthetic feature that immediately catches the eye is the upper part of the hilt where the three emitters are located, all three of which have a square U-shaped cut with the blade insertion hole in the center. The screws for securing the blade are all located on one side of the lightsaber, two for the main blade and one for each guard.
The dominant hand is positioned just below the junction of the side laser guards, where there is a recess specifically designed to facilitate a comfortable grip. The reduced diameter of this part allows for a firm and secure grip on the sword.
Below the recess are our characteristic grooves, found on almost all our lightsabers, which help you feel the hilt better and hold it firmly for longer and with greater ease.
Like all the lightsabers we produce, the combat blade can be selected from the numerous variants available in the catalog. The Idra lightsaber can also be configured with daytime blades or standard polycarbonate combat blades.
These features ensure a firm and comfortable grip.
Moving down, we find the button area, which replicates the line of the Crono model, with the safety screw positioned at the top and the power button positioned at the bottom inside a recess that reduces the possibility of accidentally disarming the lightsaber during combat or choreography.
This lightsaber model is only available in three crystal colors: red, green, or blue. Composite or special colors such as purple or yellow are not available.
The lower part of the hilt has a larger diameter to increase the weight at the bottom of the handle, improving balance and bringing the center of gravity to a better position. The handle has no excessive machining or protrusions that could cause discomfort during use.
This hilt model does not have a grip and is not available in multi-color versions with multiple buttons.

This sports equipment for lightsaber combat is very simple to use. Pressing the single switch on the hilt will activate the three blades simultaneously (the sword is now defined as "armed"). Above the button is a customizable safety screw that helps prevent accidental shutdowns.
All the blades of this lightsaber are specially designed for combat sports, choreography, or acrobatics. They are made of polycarbonate, a very elastic yet extremely resistant material. The blades are topped with a hard plastic cap which, thanks to its characteristics, ensures uniform illumination of the tube. The blades can be easily replaced or locked in place thanks to small screws located along the circumference of the emitter.
The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the saber. To remove it, simply unscrew the knob while keeping the hilt horizontal, then tilt it until the battery pack comes out of the hilt. CAUTION: never pull on the battery pack cables as this could damage the connections.
Proper handling of this particular model of lightsaber requires training and dedication. Using a crossguard is much more complex than a classic single-bladed lightsaber.

Some useful tips for getting the most out of your IDRA lightsaber
SWITCH: to avoid accidental shutdowns during combat, we recommend choosing the basic metal switch or the metal switches with LED indicator. Once pressed, this type of switch remains under the ring nut, preventing accidental pressure.
